Sergiy Derevyanchenko’s message to Ukraine. Usyk or Joshua? Watch!

We met Ukrainian boxer Sergiy Derevyanchenko during a workout at Gleason’s Gym ahead of his July 10th fight at Barclays Center.

What is his mindset before a fight in this horrific time for Ukraine? “This situation broke my heart,” he told me.

What’s his message for the Ukrainian people? “Be strong, we will win because Ukrainian people are very strong and brave,” Derevyanchenko emphasized after his workout at Gleason’s Gym in Brooklyn.

In the heavyweight category, who does Derevyanchenko pick to win the rematch, fellow Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk or Anthony Joshua? “Of course, I want Usyk to win, but it’s 50/50,” he commented.
