Extravagant hats and wild outfits in NYC’s Easter Parade and Bonnet Festival
The annual Easter parade and Bonnet festival returned to New York City on Easter Sunday after two years of suspension due to the pandemic.
People gathered in front of the iconic St. Patrick’s Cathedral for a celebration of Spring and post-covid rebirth.
Thousands of revelers walked on 5th Avenue from 49th to 57th street and posed for pictures along the way.
Vivid colors and flowers dominated the Bonnet festival, with huge floral hats and bunny ears everywhere. Wild outfits and a festive atmosphere helped celebrate the holiday, bringing hope for a bright future. The festivities date back to the 1870s.
You will never get bored in New York City.
