Dreams: LeBron & Giannis reveal what their biggest dream is today

LeBron James Giannis Antetokounmpo

Dreams are the driving force behind our biggest accomplishments.

After a dream comes true, there’s usually a new and often bigger dream.

After having accomplished so much and after having fulfilled so many childhood dreams, what is the new dream for the top 2 players in the NBA? Watch what LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo said.

LeBron

LeBron James reveals his dream is mostly about giving back to the community, also through his LeBron James Family Foundation.

He talks about all the big projects he has in Akron (Ohio), the town where he is from, and what he wants to accomplish to help kids.

What’s LeBron’s dream today, to shape his legacy the way he wants it to be?

“To continue to build my community and I started longtime ago. If you ever have an opportunity to go to Akron, Ohio, we can point you in the right direction to see what we have got going on there with my foundation,” LeBron told VSport’s Valeria Rubino after passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, becoming the NBA’s leading scorer in history.

“Just trying to build up the community, build up a lot of underprivileged kids to make them feel wanted, to make them feel loved. To make them feel like their dreams can become reality. We have a lot of things going on, not only with the I Promise School, but with the University of Akron. The housing community that we have, bringing in underprivileged families that can’t afford their own housing. And that’s just three things. There’s so much we have going on and we want to continue to build that and hopefully take it somewhere else at some point.”

LeBron is very attached to his town. “For me the most important is the streets and the places where I rode my bike and walked. That’s definitely a big part of my legacy, if not the biggest when it comes to everything I do off the floor.”

Giannis

Giannis Antetokounmpo said he is halfway in his career and would love to keep helping his team, possibly win a championship. “I just want to keep being healthy, keep on keep on enjoying the game of basketball the way I have done the few years I have played in this league. Keep on improving,” he told ViaggioSport.

Giannis is very grateful for how far he has come and thanks God for all he has accomplished so far. “At the end of the day, whatever comes, whatever God has in stock for me, I am ok with it. I am in a place beyond I could have ever expected. Being in a team that wins 15 in row…when I started playing basketball we won 15 in a whole year. I am extremely happy but I want to keep improving.”

Both LeBron and Giannis say they would have never thought they’d get this far. But they want to keep improving and helping others.
