New York City hosted the biggest India Day Parade in the world on Sunday to celebrate 73 years of Indian Independence. A river of colors and vibrant costumes invaded Manhattan’s Madison Avenue.
Many stars of Bollywood marched in the parade, organized by the Federation of Indian Associations of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut.
Thousands of parade goers appreciated typical Indian music and costumes, dance exhibitions, drumming, bands, chants of Vande Mataram’ and ‘Jai Hind’.
