NBA Champion (2011) Corey Brewer talks about how his chemistry has been developing with his new team -the Sacramento Kings – and what he wants to teach this young group of talented players. “It’s getting there, it’s a lot of fun. A good group of guys” says the small forward/shooting guard. ” I try to teach them you gotta work hard every day. I come here and do everything as hard as I can. I hope the young guys can take that from me” adds the 33-year-old player.
Looking at the Kings as an opponent and now as a teammate, what does Corey think this team needs in order to get a playoff berth? “We gotta finish games. We lost a lot of close games. We have to execute”.
Buddy Hield’s contribution to the team: “Buddy is good, man. Buddy is one of the best shooters in the NBA”.
Corey’s tips for longevity on the court? “You need ice, hot and cold towels. You have to take care of your body” he explains.
