Dwyane Wade’s last game: I won’t be making any comeback. This is It!
Dwyane Wade’s great career came to an end in Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. “I think everybody around me knows that this is for real. I won’t be making any comeback” says the Chicago-born 37-year-old shooting guard, who spent most of his career with the Miami Heat.
Wade closed his career with a triple double. “I don’t know why everyone feels you have to go out there and score 60 in your last game because Kobe did it. Hopefully I took the bar all the way back down” he joked.
The 3-time NBA Champion and 13-time All Star was wearing a very extravagant golden and black sequin jacket with golden sequin sneakers. “As you can see, I am about to go party! I am about to go dance” he commented during his press conference at Barclays Center, before heading to his retirement party at Catch in Manhattan.
Watch Wade’s comments about the presence of his very close friends LeBron James, Chris Paul, and Carmelo Anthony, who convinced his to do this ‘One Last Dance” tour and play one more year when he wanted to retire after last season.
Wade defined Udonis Haslem as family, as a brother and not just a teammate. What is D. Wade to Haslem?
What is Wade to the Miami Heat and to coach Erik Spolestra?
Images of Wade getting on the court, saluting fans, signing autographs. A nice kiss with his wife Gabrielle Union.
Thanks D. Wade. Basketball is going to miss you.
