NBA CUP: LeBron vs Haliburton

IT’S CHAMPIONSHIP GAME-DAY IN LAS VEGAS, NEVADA! THERE’S Great excitement for the final of the first-ever NBA In-season tournament.

The Los Angeles Lakers will take on the Indiana Pacers TONIGHT at the T-Mobile arena. The Pacers are the revelation team of this tournament and Their young leader AND NEW SUPER STAR Tyrese Haliburton told me : “WE ARE SHOCKING THE WORLD RIGHT NOW, NOBODY EXPECTED US TO BE HERE EXCEPT FOR THE GUYS IN THE LOCKER ROOM”. 

It will be a battle of the old and the young. A DAVID VERSUS GOLIATH MATCHUP WITH A 15-YEAR AGE GAP BETWEEN THE TWO STARS IN THE GAME. Veteran NBA legend  LeBron James- 38  – looks happier than ever on the court. He had 30 points in 22 minutes in the semifinal in which the Lakers ran over the Pelicans.

On the other side, 23-year old Tyrese Haliburton is a force of nature with a very unusual form of shooting, but is already making history. The 6’5’’ point guard FOR THE THIRD TIME IN HIS CAREER  HAD A GAME WITH AT LEAST 25 POINTS, 15 ASSISTS AND ZERO TURNOVERS. NOBODY HAS EVER DONE THAT MORE THAN ONCE.  A GLIMPSE OF PLAYOFF INTENSITY IN DECEMBER. AT STAKE A 500 THOUSAND REWARD FOR EACH PLAYER IN THE WINNING TEAM. AND WIDER GLOBAL EXPOSURE.

LEBRON really appreciates this tournament and he called the NBA commissioner Adam Silver a genius for introducing it this year. Who’s gonna win the first NBA Cup in history? The Lakers are the betting favorites but the young Pacers thrive as the underdogs and right now have probably the best offense in history. I AM NOT EXAGGERATING. They are scoring at a rate that – if the season ended today – would be a record. The lakers are a good defensive team AND The public will mostly be for them seen the proximity to LA. So it’s a sort of homecourt advantage. It’s going to be experience vs young and explosive talent. We are eager to see who will prevail.

C’è grande emozione a Las Vegas per la finale del primo torneo NBA di mezza stagione.

 I Los Angeles Lakers affronteranno gli Indiana Pacers stasera alla T-Mobile Arena di Sin City, la città del peccato.

 I Pacers sono la squadra rivelazione di questo torneo e della stagione. Il loro giovane leader Tyrese Haliburton ci ha detto dopo l’allenamento: “Stiamo sorprendendo tutti. Nessuno si aspettava che fossimo qui, eccetto noi.”

Una battaglia tra una leggenda vivente del basket e una super star emergente, un duello tra Davide e Golia in cui i protagonisti hanno 15 anni di differenza. 

Il veterano LeBron James, 38 anni, sembra più felice che mai in campo. Nelle semifinali ha realizzato in 22 minuti 30 punti, trascinando i Lakers alla vittoria sui Pelicans. 

Dall’altra parte, il 23enne Tyrese Haliburton è una forza della natura con una forma di tiro molto insolita. E sta già facendo storia. Il playmaker di un metro e 95 per la terza volta nella sua carriera ha siglato almeno 25 punti, 15 assist e zero palle perse. Nessun giocatore della lega americana ha mai ottenuto questi numeri più di una volta. 

Una scintilla di intensità in stile playoff NBA nel mese di dicembre, consuetamente dominato dal football americano. Un grande successo per il commissioner della NBA Adam Silver, definito un genio da LeBron e compagni per aver introdotto questo Tournament, inspirato alla FA Cup inglese ed alle alter coppe del calcio e del basket internazionale. 

In palio, un premio di 500mila dollari per ogni giocatore del team vincente e la prima NBA Cup della storia. Chi vincerà? 

I Lakers sono i favoriti nelle scommesse, ma i giovani Pacers, al momento, hanno le migliori percentuali di attacco della storia. 

I Lakers sono una buona squadra difensiva e giocheranno quasi in casa perché, data la prossimità con Los Angeles, i tifosi giallo-viola riempiranno il palazzetto.
