The Puerto Rican Day Parade took over New York City’s most iconic avenue to celebrate the culture, achievements and legacy of Puerto Rico and its people.

The 67th annual event began at 11 A.M. on 44th street, stretching up to 79th street on 5th Avenue in Manhattan.

This year, the colorful parade acknowledged the municipality of San German in Puerto Rico and Puerto Rican communities of the Hawaiian islands.

The theme for 2024 was ‘Boricua de Corazon“, capturing the feeling that being Puerto Rican resides in the heart and unites all the people that come from that island, regardless of their physical location.

An explosion of colors and latin music animated NYC during this festive celebration of Puerto Rico.
