Cape Weligama Resort is one of my favorite hotels in the whole world, with this beautiful ultra-panoramic infinity pool.
The view is superbe, the amosphere divine.
This wonderful hotel on the top of the hill is a 3 minute walk to a nice beach and a 12 minute drive to the town’s harbor, where we took a private boat to go whale watching: a magical experience!
Our safari at Yala national park was amazing, even if this place was a very far drive from our other hotel in Wadduwa. And beware of chauffeurs: the way they drive the little buses is crazily scary.
Admiring and touching wild sea turtles at Hikkaduwa beach was another wonderful experience and diving was very interesting, even if I felt a little sick on the boat because, after the first long dive, we had to wait for over 40 minutes in the middle of the Indian ocean, on a boat that was rolling too much.
