Rams celebrate at home

With a rally in the fourth quarter to beat the Cincinnati Bengals, the Los Angeles Rams won the Super Bowl LVI trophy.

It was the first NFL title for the Rams since January 2000 and the first representing Los Angeles since 1951. The team moved to St. Louis in 1995 and came back to LA in 2016.

The Rams won in their $5 billion SoFi Stadium, becoming the second consecutive host to conquer a championship after Tampa Bay got it done last year.

The Los Angeles team was trailing 20-16 when quarterback Matthew Stafford’s touchdown pass to wide receiver Cooper Kupp gave the Rams their 23-20 lead.

Kupp MVP

Kupp -offensive player of the year – was named Super Bowl 56’s Most Valuable Player. A feat on its own: With Joe Montana, he became the only player to win both Offensive Player of the Year and Super Bowl MVP in the same season.

Kupp took to Twitter to express his happiness for getting “a crown that will last forever”.

Star receiver Odell Beckham Jr. thanked God for making him “a world champion”.

During the game, wide receiver Van Jefferson’s wife Samaria left the stadium on a stretcher and headed to the hospital to deliver the couple’s second child while her husband pulled off a comeback win.

Tom Brady before the game: “Sh*t”

Meanwhile, right before the game the now-retired NFL legend Tom Brady wrote a Tweet that says it all about how he’s feeling. “Sh*t”. The NFL replied “there’s always next year”, hoping in a comeback.
